channel mixer rgb was a working name given to the color calibration module
during development, before finallyit was finally decided to rename it to color
calibration. So, looks like a mistake in the release note. Not sure if there
was another module where they implemented these collapsing panels, I haven’t
been following DT that closely of recent months…

Hi all,
Just perusing the release notes for 4.0.0, and under the sub-heading "UI
rewrite", I se the following:

New collapsible sections have been added to avoid
cluttering the UI in the following modules:

  *   channel mixer rgb
  *   exposure
  *   color calibration

Now, I've searched the module preset manager, and I cannot see (nor have I ever
heard of) a "channel mixer RGB" module.
Is this a typo which was meant to refer to the Colour Calibration Module (I'm
guessing not, as CC is mentioned third in the list), or something else?

Cheers,
Bruce Williams

I have looked for this UCS 22 colour space in the input color profile module
and I tried to find information in the latest user guide, but I don't see it
anywhere. Is this just something that is hidden from the user or is it
something I should be selecting somewhere.

It is used internally within the colour balance RGB module, not as a pipeline
working colour space. If you go to the masks tab in color balance rgb, you'll
find an option "saturation formula" which selects whether to use the new UCS
colour space or the previous Jzazbz colour space. It is documented in the user
guide:
