it’s because Arch linux package darktable-git just takes the latest head from the active development branch, so you see that there has been a couple of hundred commits since you built the previous package.

Manjaro/Arch/XFCE and then I installed darktable through Arch repos .... darktable-git. During the install I noted the dt version as being: 3.5.0.r2218.g48ced17083-1 (Tues 01 Jun 2021 01:23:25 PM). The install ran correctly. After the install, prior to opening dt I ran a version check: [david@W530 ~]$ darktable --version this is darktable 3.5.0+2421~gc01bba08e5-dirty What is the reason for this version mismatch? ___________________________________________________________________________ darktable developer mailing list to unsubscribe send a mail to darktable-dev+unsubscr...@lists.darktable.org ___________________________________________________________________________ darktable developer mailing list to unsubscribe send a mail to darktable-dev+unsubscr...@lists.darktable.org
