After the upgrade, I found that images I had rotated in 2.4.2-1 using the 90 degree clockwise or counterclockwise rotation buttons in lighttable produced unrotated output images when exported. Other edits appear to have been correctly processed, and after re-applying the rotations, the output images were as expected.
