I ran into this while working on the rcd demosaicer, some high-iso images taken with areas almost completely dark showed strange noise effects.
Analysis showed that the demosaicer expected data to be always >= 0. Taking a look at the rawprepare iop sources shows that the blackpoint values are correctly subtracted and scaled but are **not** corrected to be at least zero. Is this behaviour desired?
