Wow so many thoughtful replies! Great to see such an active state of 
development! Brilliant! I'll reply to each, but first.

As stated in the first email I'm enjoying version 3.2.1. I'll try to state that 
in all future correspondence. Theme is the default (dark).

If it makes the selected images easier to see and looks better then we have a 
win-win situation. There is already a dark 1px border around the thumbnail. 
What I'm saying it to make it light (or white-ish) when photo is selected.

I've produced a mock-up gif and attached it. Please excuse that I have added a 
second border (1px padding, 1px border) around photos and darkened the default 
background slightly also, which is not really needed, I just prefer it, the 
only thing I'm suggesting is to add the white-ish 1px border instead of keeping 
it dark like it is now.
