Hi,

It's the opposite. Default workflow is display-referred, so with base curve by default. To test and check, just rename your darktable config folder and start a fresh darktable.

So it's a mistake on release notes. I would add to that Aurélien, who brought those new workflows, write workflows part of the 3.2 article and describes that display-referred (with base curve) it's default workflow.

Regards,

Nicolas

Hi all,
Just looking at build 2483 and reading the release notes for 3.2 in preparation for putting a video together. Notes say that the new scene-referred workflow is the default, and use Filmic v4 and Exposure. Yet, when I import some new images, I notice that Filmic AND Base Curve are active by default.
Is this a bug, or am I misunderstanding something?
Devs, great work on the redesign! Looks fantastic.
Cheers,
Bruce Williams
