Hello,

I have been working on a translation of the user manual, and what
I have been doing is to work on the doc/usermanual/po/pt_BR.po
file. I can build the partially translated manual without problems.

But just now that I have made a first PR [0], I noticed issue
4177 [1], in which it is said that
"The docs are hosted on gitlab currently which is confusing as well"
and also that the manual is being converted from docbook into
markdown.

So... Did I waste a lot of effort by not asking before starting the
translation? Does it still make sense to keep working on the
.po file that I have been translating?

Thanks!
Jeronimo
