Oh, you are right. The option to use RAW for thumbnails was unchecked. And I cannot recall If I unchecked it several days ago or not. It had been OK with the dynamic update for many years so I hadn't bother. BTW, I thought the option for embedded jpg was only used at importing stage if there was no corresponding xcf file, and any changes for an image made the thumbnail be updated. Was I wrong?
