Hi, There is another way with gettext to give information to the translators: in the source code, you add a comment with /// (triple slash) and it will appear in the .pot / .po files/ e.g. ///TRANSLATORS: this applies to CIRCLE g_strlcpy(a->name, _("[CIRCLE] change size"), sizeof(a->name));
with give the following in the pot file: #. TRANSLATORS: this applies to CIRCLE#: src/develop/masks/mask.c:293msgid "[CIRCLE] change size"msgstr "" Regards Jean-Luc Le dim. 3 nov. 2019 à 01:04, Pascal Obry <pas...@obry.net> a écrit : > > Hello Pierre, > > > I have started with the translation into German. > > In the po.file I will fine some entries: > > > > [CIRCLE] change size > > [BRUSH] change opacity > > ... > > > > Can I also translate the part in the square bracket or are they control > > commands for darktable? > > No, not needed.
