Thanks for the suggestion. I did not remove the installation folder; it was my impression the build toolchain is supposed to keep it properly updated. I'll add its removal to my build steps. (BTW, do I need something like'make clean'? If yes, how do I do it? I have not done any C development since university.) I did remove the DB files using rm.
