According to the DT 2.6 release notes, both color labels and star
ratings should be applied to all pictures in a group if the group is
collapsed:
"better handling of grouped images by allowing setting stars, color
label for the whole group"
For me (DT 2.6.0 on Arch Linux), however, this works only for star
ratings, not for the color labels. For star ratings, I get a small
notification saying "applying rating X to N images" and the rating is
applied to all pictures when I open the group. For color labels, the
label is only applied to the head of the group and no such notification
is shown.
Is this a bug or only a "misdocumented feature"? Personally, I would
consider it a bug since the behavior for star ratings and color labels
should probably be identical.
