Thanks, fixed, and CI adjusted to catch such cases in the future.
Just did a new build and basecurve module has re-appeared, thanks you for
your very quick action on this, which is why it's such a joy to use good
FOSS.
Any ideas as to whether this is code problem or a build error at my end?
The problem i guess is that you disabled -Werror.
Instead of some vague run-time problem, it would have been a compile
failure.
OK. -werror wasn't intentionally disabled by me, I suspect I inherited
the situation by using someone elses rpmbuild spec file.
One thing I do notice now is that the basecurve defaults to what I guess
is a 'default' linear curve, even though dt recognises the camera as a
'Pentax' and 'Pentax like' is available in the presets. When it was all
working OK (some time back) the curve would automatically be the 'Pentax
like'. Right at the moment I can't see how to get it to default to 'Pentax
like', but hopefully I will find that, although any help will be
appreciated.
Thanks again for your help in fixing the original issue.
Cheers,

Terry Duell
