Hi, I have 777 folders in my library. In them there are usually some `darktable-exported` folders that I do not want to import into darktable. Thus instead of importing the whole `photos` folder recursively, I ctrl+A all the 777 folders and import them.
This causes gnome-shell to crash and takes me to the login screen. When I log in again I can see that a few of my photos have been already imported. If I try to recursively add the `photos` folder it works as expected. Right before the crash I can see breakage in the window decoration. I believe this happens due to the fact that darktable tries to draw all the progress bars on the bottom left and they don't fit, and then something nasty happens with the window manager. Adding the folders a few at a time works okay, so it doesn't seem to be a weird file or photo causing the crash. Darktable does not seem to crash and no backtrace can be found in /tmp ___________________________________________________________________________ darktable developer mailing list to unsubscribe send a mail to [email protected]
