Hi, My experience is that Sony cameras noise profiles hava a goot fit and it should be the same for ILCE 6300. Please open a ticket at https://redmine.darktable.org/projects/darktable/issues there you can upload your files.
There was a bug before 2.2.0rc1 that old xmp sidecar files could not be loaded. These sidecar files are used for noise profiling, so you should do your profiling with latest version. 2016-11-23 23:52 GMT+01:00 Heiko Bauke <heiko.ba...@mail.de>: > Dear darktable developers, > > I tried to generate a custom noise profile for the Sony ILCE 6300 > camera.
