How do you mean that it does not work?

I just did a little more testing, using the equalizer as a GPU test case
and it seems to work fine using darktable-cli:

$ darktable-cli fujifilm_x_t2_09.raf fujifilm_x_t2_09.jpeg --verbose --core -d
perf
equalizer (on)
[dev] took 0.164 secs (0.027 CPU) to load the image.
[export] creating pixelpipe took 0.121 secs (0.143 CPU)
[dev_pixelpipe] took 0.000 secs (0.000 CPU) initing base buffer [export]
[dev_pixelpipe] took 0.078 secs (0.017 CPU) processed `raw black/white point'

[dev_pixelpipe] took 0.654 secs (0.800 CPU) processed `white balance' on CPU,

for me.
