Sorry but still the same issue (even with a fresh install ) ...
not sure if it's related but :
ldd /opt/darktable/lib/darktable/plugins/imageio/format/libpdf.so |grep
'not found'
libdarktable.so => not found
find / -xdev -name libdarktable.so
/usr/lib64/darktable/libdarktable.so
/opt/darktable/lib/darktable/libdarktable.so
