Hi, I tried to create a noise profile for the Canon EOS-M3: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bxxu6Mh3pHubTHVGQ2xXQnlTOGs <https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bxxu6Mh3pHubTHVGQ2xXQnlTOGs>
The results of these profiles look good when applied, but there seems to be a consistent problem with ISO 1250, 2500, 5000. I tried a couple of times (with different light conditions) but I always get the same results. Those 3 histograms only seem to go to ~0.8 instead of 1.0 as all others. On the camera itself the histograms look identical (as far as you can tell on the small screen). What is the best scene to make the pictures? I did it in a pretty dark room (for the underexposed parts) shooting against some light source (for the overexposed ones) with a computer monitor and some other light in the background. Any hints to improve or why those 3 ISOs seem to give wrong results? For reference, here is the ISO1250 raw file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bxxu6Mh3pHubT0NWc0o4NGVuMk0 Regards, Bernhard ___________________________________________________________________________ darktable developer mailing list to unsubscribe send a mail to darktable-dev+unsubscr...@lists.darktable.org
