Today March 15, 700.000 people demonstrated peacefully in Milano, Italy against the war to Irak and to defend their rights as workers.

The demonstration was organized by the biggest and the most radical Italian trade union, CGIL, but all parties, groups, organizations, associations what have been working against the war to Irak, have joined.
(In Italy there are 3 main trade unions, they have always moved together for tens of years, but one year ago our government was able to break their unity, signing a separate agreement with the other two, UIL and CISL. The objective of the action of the governement was CGIL and its radical positions. But the workers did not fall into the trap and when CGIL called for strike, the biggest demonstration in the whole world history took place: about one year ago 3 millions people were in Roma to defend their right not to be kicked out "without a valid reason". The new law against the workers could not pass).
In Italy the movement against the war is collecting more and more partecipation, 2 millions rainbow flags are hanging at Italian windows, 35-40% people are in favour of non violent but illegal actions of train-stopping, the parties constituing the left coalition have taken definitive position against the war, our government only 10-15 days ago declared they would substain Bush anyway, ONU or not ONU, now is embarassedly silent.
