Punk-rock recording artists Piggi have recorded a new version of the 1970s pop hit "Tie A Yellow Ribbon," in support of www.fuckthewar.com's "DUCT TAPE ACROSS AMERICA" peace campaign.
Entitled "Tie A Strip Of Duct Tape ('round the old oak tree)," the song is a sardonic reply to "yellow ribbon" campaigns in support of military action.
"Duct Tape Across America" is a campaign urging anti-war activists to prominently place strips of duct tape in public places to visibly highlight the absurdity of the Bush administration's ineffectual recommendations for "homeland security."
