Prince Charles german sense of humour...
Charles urges 'buy British' whilst he buys German View and Make Comments >>
Hypocrisy is never a nice thing to see.
Prince Charles made a passionate plea for British hospitals, schools and
the military to support British farmers and "Buy British". Charles is a
farmer himself and has supported their causes for a while... he was
recently ridiculed for suggesting that farmers were more persecuted than
black people or homosexuals.
However, when it came to sourcing cars for use at st James' Palace the
Prince ignored his own advice and bought German.
A spokesman for the palace said:
"Vauxhall have decided to stop making Omegas so he has had to pick another
car and has chosen Audi. Audi was the car that met the required specification."
She said the decision did not contradict his article in Farmers' Weekly
because "he was talking about food, not cars".
No explanation was given as to why it is okay to buy foreign cars, but not
food.
So Charles claims to be saying that we should support British farmers, but
not support British car manufacturers, once again proving what a narrow
section of society he is really representing.
Hanging is too good for them.
