1889 -- France: Emile Pouget's "Le Pere Peinard" begins publishing. A 
signatory to the "Charter of Amiens" (1906), endorsed by the CGT, Pouget 
also wrote numerous books & pamphlets, including "Direct Action" (1910), & 
"Sabotage."
