Game theory shows that its in our interest to monitor your reputation (in extremis, the *plonk* response increases the quality of our lives). And its in your interest to maintain a decent rep, else you're just wasting your knuckle-wear and electricity. As well as losing the ability to inject truly important info, should you find it, into the stream. Since you *may* mean well, and have not yet blown that dimension of your rep which labels you as "incorrigable" (cf certain others...), its worth mentioning this to you.
