A while ago, I wrote implementation of Yarrow in Delphi. I just managed to get the files (I haven't got them with me when I came to the US), and I'm still not sure that it is a good implementation. It passes DIEHARD, but I don't know if it goes through the "proper" stages (if that is needed) - that is, I don't know if the standard implementation of Yarrow would generate the same numbers when starting from the same state (no external entropy being added, of course). Is there some set of "proper state (key and counter) and generated value" pairs? Has someone attempted to do this before? Should I bother?
