There's a story about it on /. (of all places). Kuro5hin
were DoS'd for several days, evidently by some sort of
spam bot that posted garbage to the forums.
For those who haven't seen it: kuro5hin (pronounced like
'corrosion') is similar to SlashDot, but decisions to
post stories are community-moderated. It is/was also quite
a bit smaller and with a somewhat different focus.
