The California Supreme Court has ruled that a fugitive recovery agent's
claims of malicious prosecution against an attorney who represented clients
who sued the agent after their Oakland residence was searched via drug
trafficking warrants were not untimely, finding that a one-year statute of
limitations did not apply because the agent is not the attorney's client.
