U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas expressed concern Wednesday
about the reputational harm two former Oklahoma prosecutors were facing in
light of the state's claim that they withheld evidence and presented false
testimony to secure the conviction of a prisoner on death row — allegations
over which the justices seem likely to order further proceedings.
