A Georgia criminal defense lawyers group has called on the state Supreme
Court to erase the contempt conviction of an attorney representing rapper
Young Thug for the lawyer's refusal to reveal how he learned about a
judge's closed-door meeting with prosecutors and a witness, saying the
sanction could have a chilling effect on attorneys' ability to represent
criminal defendants.
