The update process for element appears damaged to me. In their github, they have released 1.4.8 for me (whereas the example issue form mentioned 1.6 .). In their 1.4.8 github task issue, they mention the version has been updated in the chat topic and the release is live in the store.
However, f-droid and google play store both give me element 1.4.4, and the chat topic references element 1.4.2 . Cryptographic app delivery needed.
