Thanks for the reply but problem is no other users are able to see the samba shares through cygwin or via ssh(df). Only the user with which sshd is started is able to see the samba share. Hope I am clear this time.
Not entirely but enough that I can hazard a guess at what you see as a problem, since it's been discussed to death on this list.
