Yes, you are right. Only yesterday I found out that - and I had to do source-code analisys to came to that conclusion! Why on earth, do you ask? Because: ~ $ cygcheck -h Usage: cygcheck PROGRAM [ -v ] [ -h ] cygcheck -c [ PACKAGE ] [ -d ] cygcheck -s [ -r ] [ -v ] [ -h ] cygcheck -k cygcheck -f FILE [ FILE ... ] cygcheck -l [ PACKAGE ] [ PACKAGE ... ] cygcheck -p REGEXP List system information, check installed packages, or query package database. [snip] Let me zoom on that: cygcheck **(followed by)** PROGRAM **(and THEN)** [ -v ] [ -h ] So, at least, a doc bug. Unfortunately, I'm so doc biased, that I had to do source code analysis to came to this simple conclusion - fortunately, YMMV :) Also, besides the usage message issue, I think that it should had complained about the inexistent '-v' file - that would had give me a tip. ___________ Julio Costa -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
