I just checked in another fix. My central blocking WaitForMultipleObject expression had a definition hole big as a barn door. I could trigger it easily with a slightly tweaked testcase as sent in my previous reply. Before you're going to write your own testcase, it might be worth to give the latest from CVS another try with your automake scenario.
