I thought we only supported the latest release of packages anyway, and AFAIK openssh is the only package outside of X11 that calls xauth. But I hear what you're saying and keep it in mind if the issue is raised. > Ultimately it's your decision of course. Once I dug further into the matter[1], I found that it doesn't help all that much anyway unless I revert a change in XWin. At least this will make it possible, and not give people misleading warnings.
