http://repo.or.cz/w/git.git/ plus whatever setup.exe gives you as git-*-*-src.tar.bz2 when you select downloading the source (not currently maintained in any repository). And you're better off posting your patches to upstream git, as I purposefully try to minimize the set of cygwin-specific patches I carry around on top of upstream git. - -- Don't work too hard, make some time for fun as well!
