I still don't know whether the applications installed today are responsible for the failure. In any case, changing the port to 81 made the server startable again. Now, what do I do with mod_perl? Do I try to make test (I'll look into the makefile to see whether it has any chance to detect my server at port 81, and to try to talk to it). Or I should skip the test and install boldly? Opinions?
