Hi there. I seem to be having a major problem with the G++ compiler on a Windows XP machine. I keep trying to compile a C++ file using the command "g++ -o factorials factorials.cpp" (without the quotes) and Bash keeps returning this:
/usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-cygwin/3.4.4/../../../../i686-pc-cygwin/bin/as.exe: /usr/li b/gcc/i686-pc-cygwin/3.4.4/../../../../i686-pc-cygwin/bin/as.exe: cannot execute binary file I even tried reinstalling G++ (along with updating a quantity of components of the Cygwin package), and I still wound up with the same error message. If you can help explain the problem, I would [greatly] appreciate it. -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Cannot-compile-C%2B%2B-files-tf4674465.html#a13355244 Sent from the Cygwin list mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
