Cygwin has been written to handle the most mind-bogglingly common case of a case-insensitive filesystem rather than detecting and special casing the extremely rare occurrence of an NTFS filesystem with case sensitivity turned on. You asked a question and it was answered. If you want different behavior you'll have to implement it yourself. cgf -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
