I just installed Cygwin on my machine to the latest
and now facing problem with building applications
(gcc,systemc,mpfr,gnomedesktop,etc).
Searched and tried several suggestions on the mailing
list(replaced with latest dev version of cygwin1.dll,
base dist, rebase, make -j1, stop the zone alarm,
avira's antivir etc). Always, I get messages similar
to the below example with messages about resource not
available, create process fail etc. Typically it will
also be accompanied with (if zone alarm is active),
some window message box saying VC++ problems.
My system Configurations:
1. Dual Core Intel E6300 with 1GB RAM and 120 GB HDD.
2. WinXP SP1.
3. Avira's Antivir and ZoneLab's Zone Alarm.
[Sorry for not including the cygcheck -srv... still
trying to read what is being reported before
posting.:P ]
Kinda sad having a new pc and not being able to use
Cygwin on it...:<
Any pointers or references to resolve this issue will
be very much appreciated!
