For the sake of completeness, I have tried many times to build Emacs-CVS configuring with GTK toolkit.
The build is fine but emacs fail to start:
$ emacs-cvs &
***MEMORY-ERROR***: emacs[5172]: GSlice: failed to allocate
504 bytes (alignment: 512): Function not implemented
(This not only with current cygwin 1.5.24-2 but also with previous)
(using the default toolkit, Emacs works fine).
I am only a Cygwin user and cannot add more other than attach the
cygcheck.out.
