Hi all,

First of all, thank you everyone for the hard work, as always.

After updating to the recently released cygwin-1.5.24, fetchmail,
runing in daemon mode, started to show dos-window with /bin/sh.exe
whenever it tries to start mda, procmail in my case, which is very
very annoying.

Reverting back to cygwin-1.5.23.2 doesn't show this behavior.
Running fetchmail directly from command line with cygwin-1.5.24
also doesn't show this behaivor.

So it must be something with deamon program trying execute
program throgh the shell, ala system().

=-How to repeat with cygwin-1.5.24---------------------------------------
- OK
  % fetchmail

- NG
  % fetchmal -d 120

=".fetchmailrc" setting-------------------------------------------------
#set daemon 600

defaults
        fetchall
        mda /usr/bin/procmail
=-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks in advance,
  Haro
