As seen at http://rtfm.etla.org/xterm/ctlseq.html , under the section
"Functions using CSI, ordered by the final character(s)", subsection
"CSI Pm m", xterm accepts the control sequence '\e[22m' to turn off
bold without affecting other attributes.  I believe any vt100
compatible terminal emulator is supposed to do the same.
