ncurses is a package that provides character and terminal handling
libraries, including 'gui-like' panels and menus. It is often used
instead of termcap.
CHANGES since 5.4-2:
o Update to latest release with current patchset (20060318)
o Compiled using settings to ensure ABI compatibility
with cygncurses-8.dll [*]
o Fixed bug in tput.exe described here:
http://cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2006-03/msg00184.html
(thanks, Samuel Thibault)
[*] forthcoming ncurses 'test' packages will turn on additional (new)
features in the 5.5 series, but break ABI compatibility (and will
therefore necessitate a DLL package version-bump).
