As for cron documentation, whatever is included in the Cygwin cron package is pretty useful -- see first of all the Cygwin-specific cron readme in /usr/share/doc/Cygwin/cron.README, and then the upstream documentation in /usr/share/doc/cron/README (and the man pages at "man cron" and "man crontab"). Other people on the list may have more information on this. Please direct any further Cygwin-related cron questions to the main Cygwin list.
