It is difficult to tell if this is the same or similar to the rsync hang I experienced: http://sourceware.org/ml/cygwin/2005-12/msg01096.html It seemingly hangs in the same/similar place, in my case I substituted the use of a local pipe for a local socket to resolve. > However, a netstat on the remote host did not show any connection. > Btw, when I call ssh directly it works just fine.
