I updated and when it was running postinstall I got a large number of "Entry point not found in cygwin1.dll" popups. Now bash comes up in /usr/bin instead of my home directory and is badly hosed. /etc/profile is gone, and all the cygwin directories are missing from $PATH.
What I'd like to do is reinstall from scratch, but would like to preserve the list of packages I have installed. Is there a simple way to extract a list of installed packages and then pass that to a new install? -- James Garrison Athens Group, Inc. mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] 5608 Parkcrest Dr http://www.athensgroup.com Austin, TX 78731 PGP: RSA=0x92E90A3B DH/DSS=0x498D331C (512) 345-0600 x150 -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
