New test version: grace-5.99.0-1 has been uploaded as a test version to the Cygwin net distribution to preview the forthcoming Grace-6. DESCRIPTION: ============ Grace is a WYSIWYG tool to make two-dimensional plots of numerical data. It runs under various (if not all) flavors of Unix with X11 and M*tif (LessTif or Motif). Its capabilities are roughly similar to GUI-based programs like Sigmaplot or Microcal Origin plus script-based tools like Gnuplot or Genplot. Its strength lies in the fact that it combines the convenience of a graphical user interface with the power of a scripting language which enables it to do sophisticated calculations or perform automated tasks." CYGWIN PACKAGE NEWS (5.1.19-1): =============================== * The grace home directory moved from /usr/grace/ to /usr/share/grace/. Unfortunately this leaves /usr/grace/{gracerc,gracerc.user} behind after uninstalling the old version. In the unlikely case that you really changed this configuration files and therefore want to keep your changes you can just copy them to /usr/share/grace/. Otherwise just delete /usr/grace and use the new default configuration files that are already in place. INSTALLATION: ============= To update your installation, click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on the http://cygwin.com/ web page. This downloads setup.exe to your system.
