Is there any progress on this problem? I still get Fatal Error: Uncaught Exception Thread: DialogProc Type: 9Exception Message: Package validation failure for file://G:\Xfer\Cygwin/ftp%3a%2f%2fftp.mirror.ac.uk%2fsites%2fsources.redhat.com%2fftp%2 fcygwin/release/X11/xorg-x11-fnts/xorg-x11-fnts-6.8.1.0-3.tar.bz2 AppErrNo: 1 and similarly for xorg-x11-fenc-6.8.1.0-2.tar.bz2 I have downloaded xorg-x11-fenc three times - all identical. The sizes and md5s for both packages appear to match setup.ini I have tried 2.510.2.2 and 2.523 I am using "install from local directory" - setup.log and setup.log.full do not appear to have been written to.
