I'm curious: does cygwin support the msgget, msgsnd, msgrcv & msgctl functions from System V IPC?
The sample code I downloaded from the www.wrox.com (for the book Beginning Linux Programming 3rd Edition chapter 14) compiles with no errors bug causes a "5032 Bad System call". Should these functions work? And what about shared memory using shmget, shmat, shmdt, shmctl? The sample code compiles with these functions too but gives a " 2764 Bad system call " and " 4480 Bad system call" when I run them. Should these work?
