True, my mistake. Norton Ghost is the one that screws up the PATH by putting in quoted entries. The one I meant was Google Desktop Search, which locked files intermittently (see the recent report by Gary Van Sickle: <http://cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2005-05/msg00906.html>).
