I've been using Cygwin heavily with no problems for over a year (including running sshd/httpd, etc) with ZoneLabs Integrity Desktop (our corporate firewall software). I've also heard good things said about Kerio Personal Firewall. There were some discussions of recommended firewalls in the past, but I don't have a ready pointer -- perhaps someone else does. For some reason I thought there was an FAQ entry listing known-good firewall software, but I can't seem to find it now. Perhaps it was all in my imagination...
