When building any version of the ddd source under cygwin from 3.3.9 onwards including the source supplied with cygwin I get this error in a dialog box.
ddd.exe ? Application Error: The application failed to initialize property (0xc0000005). Click on Ok to terminate the application. All other x applications work including the precompiled binary of ddd 3.3.9. Either the current cygwin tools that are available to download are not capable of building a functional ddd or there is some other problem.
